Divisional Guidelines:
Beginner: 12 & Under
This division is meant for riders with limited to no competition experience. Riders should not be able to do trick combinations, advanced overhead tricks, or flips of any kind. This is an official division for USARS Scootering and points for this event will be awarded towards your national ranking.
Intermediate: 14 & Under
This division is meant for riders with limited to no competition experience but are capable of doing some combinations, simple overhead tricks with consistency, carry a decent amount of speed and flow around the park (Fly out backflips are allowed). This is an official division for USARS Scootering and points for this event will be awarded towards your national ranking.
Advanced: 16 & Under
This division is meant for riders with a little more experience on their scooter. The only restriction is age. Must be 16 and under. This is not an official division for USARS Scootering and no points will be awarded for this event, only prizes. The equivalent division for USARS Qualifiers would be the Junior division.
Open: 16+
This division is meant for more advanced riders that are 16 years or older. This is not an official USARS division and will not count towards USARS Ranking Points. The equivalent division for USARS Qualifiers would be the Junior division and Mens/Womens Divisions.
Age is counted on the first day of competition for the lower requirement and the last day of competition for the upper limit. E.g. Junior athletes must be a minimum of 10 years old on the first day of competition, and a maximum of 17 years old on the final day of competition.

Park:
- 2x 45 second runs
- Best run counts
- Riders can receive a maximum of 100 points for each run

All riders must be USARS Members in good standing and provide their Member ID number during registration. To sign up for a USARS membership visit their website (Link). Registration will be available here (Link).

RIDERS MEETING
There will be a riders meeting held before the start of the first official practice where the head judge will go over the judging format. USARS staff will be there to answer any questions as well. Communication about the time & place of the meeting will be sent to athletes the week of the event.

PRACTICE
There will be assigned practice groups & Heats. Every participant will receive at least 30 minutes of practice on the day of the competition before the start of their division.

Will this be held in the bowl, or in the street section?
Hello my son is 9 and turns 10 in Oct. We have been wanting to get him into a competition and live in Michigan. He can do Bri’s consistently is he able to participate? Want to get him experience. Check him out on instagram @thenolanpool. Thanks.
